Breaking Bad is not a television series. It is a trip, a short but intense trip that accompanies us to a dark forest. As Dante Alighieri, we take a long road although not to Hell: we’ll travel inside the rough human psychology of man and we’ll admire (frightened or thrilled) a fictional story that seems true, just like one of Tarantino’s films.
The plot is easy. Breaking Bad talks about Walter White, aka Heisenberg, a high school Chemistry teacher who is diagnosed with an inoperable lung cancer. He turns to a life of crime, producing and selling methamphetamine, in order to secure his family’s financial future before he dies, teaming with his former student, Jesse Pinkman.
You will be so engaged into the story to take part in the character’s pains and joys, victories and failures. The mainly characteristic of Breaking Bad is that the viewer will hate the leading actor, Walt. In fact the main idea of the series, according to the creator, Vince Gilligan, was precisely this.
Talking about the episodes of Breaking Bad will diminish its importance and mostly fall in spoiler. I’s advisable to stay away from pathogens, spoilers and spam, and to have the hands of a cook to taste every single particular of the series.
Warning: NO HALF MEASURES.
