MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Good afternoon friends!
How are you? Are you feeling the Christmas air? Sincerely this year I’m not feeling any.

Perhaps, growing up, we somehow lose the ability to feel the beauty of the great feast of the Nativity. When we are children, we wait for Xmas time for Xmas presents and father christmas, but when we grow up, apart from the opportunity to meet again people near and far, we ask ourselves about the real sense of Xmas: God. The growing consumerism is sweeping away the religiosity of this feast: after unwrapping presents under the usual Christmas tree and stuffing ourselves with delicacies, we feel there’s nothing left. I think that all this isn’t beautiful.
We should try to get closer to the deeper themes of the human soul, trying to revive in us the real meaning of Xmas, of which today there is more need than ever.
What’s your opinion?
I wish you a sincere and happy Christmas. And don’t eat much!! 😉
Merry Christmas to everyone.
