Hi everyone! 🙂
This is my first post here and today we’re going to talk about… DIET!
Nowadays, diet is a common word among teenagers and almost every age group, with no distinction between men and women: it is a topic about which not all people are well-informed, many believe that it simply means “to eat less”, maybe in order to lose weight and get healthier, or that it just means “no more sweets and junk food”.
The idea of “diet” is a very complex concept because, if misunderstood, it can cause several problems, serious problems such as anorexia, bulimia or obesity. You usually first start thinking about it when you see your mates’ perfect bodies and you feel frustrated because you would like to be like them, and so you start eating less and less, but this is not correct!!! It could not be more incorrect because going on a diet means… eating well!
Going on a diet does not necessarily mean ‘do not eat fast food or your grandmother’s lasagna!’ It just means eating in a correct way by varying your food. You should not always eat pasta or salad or meat, you should vary your food in order to be healthy and to be in a good ‘relationship’ with your body.
Many people can’t do this, especially because they are too stressed to cook something and so they prefer eating prepared food even if they know that by continuing with this lifestyle they are supposed to gain weight drastically.
I have been one of them, but then I changed my mind and after having understood what I was doing I changed my lifestyle. It has been difficult, very difficult sometimes, but sacrifices pay back.
Want to know how to lose 29 kilos just as I’ve done?? It’s not a secret, you should just follow the rules that you already know and that you have been told so many times (eating more fruit, vegetables or doing more sport)!
I decided to write this post to let you know that if you want something you can do it! So, stop laying there and go for a walk (even if February is not the perfect month to do this), a run and enjoy your life by eating correctly, from vegetables to sweets.
I hope that this post has met your expectations and that one of my personal experiences can change your life (for the better!).
See you soon 😉
